Hello Crafters! Ali here and thanks for visiting the Miss Ink Stamps Blog - hope you find lots of inspiration here and that you are enjoying the fabulous DT cards! It has been a while since I have tried some no-line colouring and thought I would pull out my pencils and give some a go this week!
For Today's card, I've used the Magnolia Sympathy stamp set to create a simple card inspired by a very pretty no-line coloured card by the lovely Debby Hughes.
To begin, I stamped the main Magnolia image from the set using Antique Linen distress ink onto grey card. I coloured the image using Polychromos using pinks (124, 128, 129) and greens (167, 173, 266) and white (101). I stamped two of the lovely sentiment from the Decaf Background set and embossed them in white on some darker grey card strips.
I backed the sentiments with a thin strip of pink card, slightly offset and adhered them to the front of the card. I adhered some tiny sequins to the front of the card to finish it off and adhered all to a white card base. The Magnolia on its own is so pretty and simple giving a modern look to the card.
Thanks for visiting the blog and see you again soon!
