Mixing It Up - Stencils, Color Bursts and the Kitchen Sink

Mixing It Up - Stencils, Color Bursts and the Kitchen Sink

Welcome back!  I did a lot of playing around with the new Halloween Mandala stencil and... well... lots of stuff!  And I love it!
I started by placing the stencil on a craft mat and sprinkled on some Color Burst Powders in Tangerine and Razzle Berry.  Then I sprayed it with water infused with Ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust.
I laid some water color paper over the top and soaked up some of the color (very cool!...I'll use that one later) and then lifted it up and laid a die cut panel of white cardstock over it for a cool print.
I cleaned off the stencil and then placed it back over the top of the print and blended on some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide around the outer edges.  I removed the stencil and blended some black soot around the whole outer edge.
I splattered on some black acrylic paint and then used a heat gun to dry it and flatten it a bit before adding it to cardstock bases.
With my background all ready to go, I colored and cut out the cats from the Boo Cats stamp set and added a sentiment from Feline Spooky!
Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed it and you come back soon!  And tomorrow I'll be sharing what I created using that watercolored panel so look out for that over on IG!
