Hello Miss Inkers! Welcome back to the blog - it's Ali here today with another Alice card (I just adore this release!!). Lots of people I know have had very "unbirthday-like" Birthdays this year so I though this card was very fitting! I love the sentiments in the Alice release - so kooky and qwirky - just what's needed at times like these! Actually a lot of them are strangely much more meaningful in these times. Anyway, hope you are holding in there and that card brings some much needed brightness to your day!
I began the card by stamping the Queen's castle stamp on a background piece of white card, die cut with a stitched frame die. I used Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink to do this so I was just a light impression/color. I stamped the sentiment from Unbirthday in Ink On 3 Blackout hybrid Ink. I stamped (with the same ink) and colored the Queen image from Queen of Hearts Stamp set and colored her with copics - R59, R29, R05 for the red and C9. C7, C5, C3 copics for the black. I fussy cut the queen and adhered to the background piece. I backed it with red card and adhered to a white cardbase.
Such a fun card - this release is really so much fun and you can make some tryly individual cards with the range of stamps and sentiments. hope it bought a smile to your face
See you next time
