Hello everyone, welcome back to the blog. DT Randy here with a new postcard to share. We are getting so much closer to Easter and I still have lots to create. I adore the postage frame die that was part of the last release and wanted to create an Easter postcard.
I first stamped out my bunnies from the Springtime Bunnies stamp set and fussy cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color them.
I then die cut out the largest postage frame from the Postage, Seal and Shaker Collection die set from white cardstock. With the middle piece, I stamped my background with the Scene Builder: Meadow stamp set. Building a scene with this set is super easy as it has all the pieces to help you fill in and complete your scene. The only part that I needed to mask off was the large tree in the front.
Once I stamped my background, I used Copic Markers to color my scene. I then stamped the sentiment directly onto the background.
I trimmed down a piece of cardstock to fit behind the large postage die cut and then adhered my background on top. To complete my card, I added my two bunnies using foam tape.
Have you started on your Easter cards yet? I hope this card inspired you and check out all the products I used, linked above. Happy Crafting!
