Believe in Santa Card

Hello there, Christine here with an A2 card that makes me giggle- actually the sentiment is what makes me smile!  The sentiment is from a stamp set from the newest release I Believe and I've paired it with the Floral Wave Stencil for maximum impact!  

I started by ink blending a small amount of speckled egg distress ink with the Floral Wave Stencil onto 110 lb Neenah solar white cardstock. I used a light hand and just started in the center and used minimal amounts as I got to the edges of the panel.  I then immediately used Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste (Aurora shimmer) over the ink blended portion and then set it aside to dry overnight. As you can see from the photo below, the edges of the panel are just the color of the white sparkle paste. 

In the meantime I cut out the images and sentiment from the I Believe stamp set and then did some really simple copic coloring (B97, B91, R46, R59, G24) and some simple white gel pen highlights.  The sentiment itself really does so much for the design of the card that you don't have to spend much time on the other images for the card to feel finished.  I added a bow and jingle bell (Trinity Stamps Bunch of Bows die set), because I wanted another pop of red.
