You are Charming!

You are Charming!

Hello friends! This is Bea, my very first blog post for Miss Ink Stamps, and I hope this post inspires you or teaches you something you don't know yet.

For my project today I made a distress ink background with the set "So Charming" plus three stencils: "Perspective Floor Stencil" ,"Footprints Stencil" and "Magic Stars".

Now, let me tell you how I made this card. I first cut a piece of white cardstock, then with the Perspective Floor stencil, I aligned to my piece of cardstock and used two distress inks: Lumberjack plaid and lost shadow. With lumberjack plaid I wanted to recreate brick, and the lost shadow worked as it is a very light gray to give my floor a dirty look. I then, used the footprints stencil to add some prints all over the floor.

Once I was done with the floor, I used another stencil: "Magic Stars" and "Mustard Seed" distress oxide, with a small brush I added the stars to the wall of my scene.

I then stamped with memento tuxedo black ink my images from the "So Charming" clear stamp set on white cardstock, and colored my images with alcohol markers. I then cut out my images with the outline dies.

The cat and the boy were glued to the cardstock with wet glue, and the girl and sentiment I glued to my card with foam tape to give some dimension, and create levels.

Happy Crafting friends, I'll see you next time!!
