Hi All!
Kavya here with my first blog post for Miss Ink Stamps! You might have seen me over at Instagram but I haven’t had the chance to share a card on the blog yet until today. For today’s card, I played around with the Say Cheese stamp set and the popular Rabbit Hole Stencil. When I first saw the name of the stamp set, I immediately thought of polaroids. With the help of some masking, I was able to create mini scenes on small squares. I then adhered them onto larger rectangles to make them look like polaroids.
I colored the critters using copics and also used colored pencils for adding dimension to the stamped images. The best thing about this stamp set is that it comes with a bunch of sentiments that can be used as captions for the polaroids too! For the background, I ink blended purple, pink and orange die inks on some card stock and then ink blended using the same inks on top of the stencil to create a subtle background.
And that’s it! Isn’t this card super simple to create? This is also another simple way to stretch your Miss Ink critters for any occasion! Hope you liked it and be sure to check back for more inspiration from the DT!
