Hello there inky friends! Today I'm sharing a fun card I created because I'm wishing and HOPING for some REAL snow. It's been so long since I've had some real snow and I hope I see some before the winter season is over. So, while I wait so patiently (hmm hmm), I will sit tucked away in my craft room creating snowy scenes...
I started out by stamping the snowy scene using the snowflakes in the Snow One Like You stamp set on a piece of teal cardstock. I used some VersaFine Onyx ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then blended some white opaque ink over that so that and flicked some splatters of watered down white acrylic ink over that to create a blizzard scene. After that, I stamped the snowman/tree image and colored with Copic markers. Next I fussy cut, popped it up on the snowy background and then doodled a big old pile of snow using a black marker. I fussy cut this snow and applied it to the bottom to complete the snowy scene.
Mounting this scene on a white piece of cardstock and then onto a teal panel before mounting onto a white card base finished everything off.
Thanks for hopping over to check out my snowy season card. Help join me in making my wish for snow come true! See you again next time!!!
