I think this month rather than concentrating on a particular stamp set or stencil or technique, I'm gonna make it all about pups! Today I'm sharing a mini slimline using the Beautiful Destination background and Wolf Pack stamp sets!

I started the background by cutting a dark blue gel print with a mini slimline die. I applied some anti static powder generously over the top and then stamped the background in clear embossing ink. I used gold embossing powder and heated it. This cool stamp set has a couple separate pieces including mountains and you can easily create a regular sized slimline with it!

Then I blended some distress inks over the top to make it darker.. I was going for a nighttime in the forest kind of look. After applying the ink, I used a paper towel to wipe the extra ink off of the embossed areas so the gold would shine through. Finally I splattered on some Distress Spray and Gold Color Shine and set it aside to dry while I colored my images.

I popped up my wolf pups onto the front and added one of the cute punny sentiments in the set. I just love the wolves in this set and all of the different positions they're in!

I've got some more wolves for you tomorrow and more pup related cards all month!
Thanks so much for stopping and I hope you enjoyed it!
