Lucky Rainbow Cards using Small Die Cuts

Hello! It's Kari here with two new cards and a video to share creating Lucky Rainbow Cards using small die cuts. Did you get the newest incentive die (that's free with your order?) This little clover is SO CUTE, and can be used for shakers OR for small embellishments like on my cards today.

If you didn't get this die, don't worry...there's still time to order AND there are some other options I share in the video. Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

For my first card, I used the small clovers to create a background design. I love the look, and you can even cut the dies out of your panel to show a design behind the panel. Today I just cut a bunch of green clovers and lined them up to create a fun background.

I brought out the Rainbow Builder stencil to create a fun rainbow (adding a bit of glitter to the heart in the middle).

The Luck sentiment is cut from the EIEIO Frame Die alpha...in the video I might have mentioned Punny Farm Frame alpha, but it is ACTUALLY the EIEIO Frame Die alpha. To create that black and white square frame behind the rainbow, I stenciled with the Diagonal Stripes stencil. You will see this again later in a rainbow of colors on the next card.

On my second card, I brought in the Lots of Letters mini die set and the Postage Seal and Shaker Collection Die set for the faux wax seal.

See the rainbow diagonal stripes?! This time I stenciled that rainbow in the center with black and gold ink for a different look. Watch the video to see how I made that background with a gold metallic splash of interest!

The sentiments comes from the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set, a very favorite sentiment set of mine! I hope you enjoyed these lucky cards today! See you soon with more cards to share,

Kari
