Welcome back! Lisa here and today I want to share some of the ways the new Hay Daze background stamp can be used! Sometimes even when I know I'm going to create an A2 card, I stamp the entire background so I can cut a mini image at the same time! Today I'm using one of those mini images!
I colored this one with my Copics. I had some fun with the grass and added flicks over the little grassy pieces as well as other areas and then filled in with some dots using YG01, YG03, and YG17. I colored the sunflowers using YR15, YR19 and YR27 and the stems and eaves in YG63, YG65 and YG67. I added one of the banners, the birdie, nest and foliage from Springtime Banners along with that sentiment from Decaf Background.
I think it's fun to use a white background panel and frames so that the pretty scene pops but then bring the scene outside of the frame a bit with my sentiment and other images. I used the same colors for the secondary images including that banner... love to color those banners instead of just leaving them white!
And in case you missed them here are a couple more cards I made using the Hay Daze stamp set!
And a sneak peek of one I'll be sharing tomorrow:
SO fun right?? Love this Hay Daze stamp set as well as the equally cool Scene Builder Meadow! So versatile on many different sizes of cards and they can be used with all kinds of stamps or just by themselves! I'll be sharing more cards using these awesome sets this month!
Thanks for stopping and hope you'll come again soon for more Miss Ink Stamps inspiration!
