Hello there Miss Ink Stamps fans! It's Kerry here and today I'm sharing this fun card that is 2 parts, interactive and FUN! The recipient will surely enjoy receiving their iced mocha or stamp shopping card in this little icy creation! Here's how I created it:
I started out by using a small kraft gift bag. I doodled some swooshy snow layers and colored them up with Copics. I then stamped and colored the cute little snowmen from the Ice day set. Next, I popped everything up on the tag using foam squares and stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx ink. I also splattered a little white acrylic ink onto the envie to give another layer of dimension. I also added some dots of snow falling here and there with my Staedtler black marker.
Next, I started working on the card base. I mounted a rectangle of white cardstock onto a panel of dark blue cardstock then mounted that onto a white card base. Next, I stamped and colored the snowy cliff from the stamp set and mounted it on the card base using foam squares so that the gift card envelope could be tucked in and easily removed by the recipient.
To finish things off, I added some Copic snow falling here and there and added some black dots. I attached some navy blue twine using some glue and the whole card was complete. All that's left is tucking that fun gift card into the little gift card envelope, addressing it and mailing it off. FUN, eh?
Thanks for hopping over to check out my project! See you again next week!
