Finishing Touches to Highland Cows

Finishing Touches to Highland Cows

Hello! It's Kari here with a new video sharing some Finishing Touches you can add to the Highland Cows Layering Stencil.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

This stencil is so awesome and it creates a great scene: with the Highland Cow, a little bird, and some flowers. Today I create with it in two brown colorways...one a little more yellow/brown, and one a more red/brown. It turns out cute no matter the color you use!

For this first card, I share in the video how to layer up the Highland Cow Stencils, and add some details with colored pencils. Then I add some gems and Liquid Pearls to the center of the flowers. I used the Punny Farm Frame Die to cut the panel with a stitched edge.

The sentiment (which I think works perfectly for this cow and bird) is from the Wildflowers Stamp set from the Alice Collection!

This next card is a much more red-brown color way and I like it, too! I created my own sentiment using the alphabet from THIS die set, and a sentiment from the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set (which is a favorite of mine)!

The fence is from the Highland Cows Coordinating Die set, but I did not use the stamp set! (only the fence die)

The scalloped edge border is a die from the EIEIO Frame Die Set. Watch the video to see how these cards came together.

I hope you enjoyed these cards today! Stop on by the YouTube Channel to see even more inspiration!
