Coffee Hugs

Coffee Hugs

Hello there, Christine here.  I have a clean and simple card for you today- or at least it is as clean and simple as I can do.  I find white space difficult and usually opt to have some type of pattern in the background.  I have used stencils a lot lately, so I used a embossed background today with the Brewtiful stamp and Springtime Banner stamp sets.

I stamped all the images from the Brewtiful stamp and Springtime Banner stamp sets with Memento ink in tuxedo black onto Neenah 80 lb cardstock in solar white. I die cut all the images with my Brother Cut-n-Scan2.

I die cut a background onto Neenah 80 lb cardstock as well with a background die (Ellen Hutson).  The copic coloring was kept simple, I used R30 & R00 for the coffee cup, Y23 & YR30 for the flowers, G24 & G28 for the leaves, E34 & E23 for the coffee and beans.  I added gold acrylic paint to the stamen of the flowers and glitter paste to give the leaves some shine. Finally, I added a few sequins to finish the card.

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday- happy crafting!
