Hello there, Christine here with a Buggy Valentine interactive card. I apologize in advance that the Bugs & Kisses stamp is sold out in the store, but if you were able to get the stamp, here is a potential card you could make. I used the Floral Wave Offset stencil to create the sunrise background. It is a pendulum card, where the Dung Beetle happily rolls back and forth on its little treasure. I've created a very detailed blog post on how to make a pendulum card here. I first saw how to make this amazing pendulum card rocker card from Amanda at Pear Blossom Press; her video is very thorough and I encourage you to watch it here.
I first die cut two 5 inch scalloped circles (or regular 5 inch circles are fine too), the sunset background was created using the Floral Wave Offset stencil and distress oxide inks in scattered straw and tattered rose overlapped.
I die cut all the images and cut them out with my Brother ScanN'Cut machine. I did a little bit of copic coloring to create some colorful bugs cheering the Dung Beetle on as he sways back and forth.
I used dies in my stash to die cut grass layers out of green cardstock and some distress oxide ink in rustic wilderness to add a darker color to the top of the grass. I hope that you like the card. Thank you so much for stopping by!
