Be My Valentine

Hello guys! Bea here, today I have for you a Valentine card.

I absolutely love shaker cards, so of course I had to make one for Valentine's Day.

The first thing I did is cut a cardstock base for my card, I chose pink, then with the "Modern Typeset Frame Die" I cut the outside frame of my shaker part of the card with a glittery red cardstock, and I then cut again with white cardstock to obtain the middle of the shaker.

For the middle of the shaker, I added some color with Distress Ink "Spun Sugar" and the stencil "Herringbone Stencil", I tried adding more ink towards the top and then let it fade.

To make sure I positioned my middle herringbone piece correctly, I first positioned the outside frame, and glued the inside, then added some double sided tape to the reverse side of my frame, added some acetate, and 3D tape.

As you can see in the picture I have really cool shaker pieces, where did I get them from? I made them with the "Key to my Heart" die, and I cut it out of the same red glittery cardstock. Then I added some shaker bits from my stash.

To finish my card I also used the "SWAK Postage Hearts" die, and cut in some soft pink, and gold cardstock.

I finished my card using the alphabet set from the "Modern Typeset Frame Die" with the word "Valentine".

Make sure to check out my IG for the reel putting together this card, you can do so over here https://www.instagram.com/beawitched_by_cards/

Happy Crafting friends!!!
